Lt.
Calvin Raymond. was the skipper on the Molala from July 1964 to March
1967. Captain Raymond was in the Navy from 1945 to 1971. He started out on submarines and served on the
USS Pllaice SS-390, USS Sealion ASSP-315, USS Tang SS-563, USS Renshaw DD-499, USS Charles Berry DE-1035, USS Washoe
County LST-1165 and USS Molala ATF-106.
Additionally, he is a member of the National Association of
Fleet Tug Sailors, also known as
NAFTS.
