Thanks to Greg Collins for these
photos. The first two photos were taken in Pearl Harbor. You can see the 3
inch 50 gun mount in pic #1. Photo #3 is of PO1 Bennet on the Stb wing of
the bridge. The last photo is of Mike Powers and Greg Collins. Note the
officer style hats. This was one of the Navy's ventures into new uniforms
styles. I didn't like the uniform change.
