Dear Sir,
I happened to be in Richmond California this week to tour the Red Oak
Victory. Along the way I happened to notice the Moctobi and Quapaw.
Grandfather commanded an ATF in WWII, so the type is familiar to me from his
pictures and stories. A quick net search brought me to your site.
I took some pictures and thought I would send them to you. I particularly
like #057 (renamed to Pruett1.jpg) with the Victory Ship in the background.
I spoke to Tom with the Port of Richmond. He indicated that both ships are
now up for sale again. Previous plans to get them going as commercial tugs
have fallen through.
Regards,
Bryan Pruett
